Quinn's 4th Birthday Party

Saturday we had a birthday party for Quinn. I originally wanted to invite all her preschool classmates and some other friends from the neighborhood but the head count was getting high. So we stuck to their closest friends and had a fun little party!

We started off by decorating the goody bags

The kids had fun picking from an assortment of foam pirate and fairy shapes

Then they got to pick out fairy wings and pirate gear from the basket

Daring sword fights ensued

After decorations were complete, they "walked the plank". A long piece of wood on top of blue cloth (water, of course!). The kids had a lot of fun with this one, balancing the entire way and trying to avoid sharks and alligators!

Next up was pin the wings on the fairy. This was more complicated for our age group. I didn't want to blind fold them since they're so little. I tried to turn them around and around but they didn't seem to understand that well.

in the end, they all rushed the poster board and slapped their wings on!

After pin the wings on the fairy, we went on a treasure hunt! Jas hid the treasure box while they were occupied with the games. It didn't take them long at all to find it but they had fun running around for a few seconds

Inside were coloring books I had made on the computer, little containers of play-doh, tattoos, and necklaces and bracelets

Owen specifically picked out this bracelet for his sister, Audrey, because she loves dress-up. What a doll!

Sorry ladies, he's taken

This is sweet Audrey, what a beautiful fairy!

Then the kids got free play

Liam knew with the kids occupied, the loot was all his!

We ate a fun lunch outside. The girls all sat at this little picnic table while the boys sat at the big picnic table. It was really funny how they naturally sectioned themselves off by gender

Cake time!

It was a really fun birthday party for Quinn. The kids played together so well and had so much fun dressing up! Thank you everyone that took the time to come and celebrate Quinn's birthday with us!
