Last Day of Mother's Day Out

This week was the last of Quinn's Mother's Day Out Program.

My little girl is getting so big. Every month, every week, almost feels like every day she's getting bigger. And smarter. And stronger. And overall wonderful.

To compare, I took photos of her in the same spot on the first and last day of school.

She has grown so much.

The teachers provided a scrapbook of her activities throughout the year. I couldn't wait to look through it and I immediately started crying while flipping through the pages. I'm so proud of my little girl. Her first pictures are of a little toddler; chubby cheeks, long unruly hair. But her last ones, not unlike the photos above, are of a girl who is no longer a toddler. She is a kid. She will be 4 this year. She looks so much older!

After school, Claire and her mommy invited some of us from the preschool over for a swim party. The kids played with the water table, a swimming pool and slide, hopscotch, snacks, drinks, and of course, the hose and squirters on each other!

Here is handsome Pete. Pete's mommy and I have been told by the teacher that they have a love/hate relationship. I think it's funny, because they don't fight that much when they play together after school. Even one of their classmates told his mommy that Quinn and Pete fight a lot.

You wouldn't know it when they get together in the backyards.

Little siblings got to play as well.

I did get Quinn signed up for swim and gymnastics lessons. It'll help break up the days during our hot summer.

We are so thankful for the program that she was able to attend this last year and we are really excited for her to start preschool there in the fall!
