Play With Your Food

A calm dinner table is not common at our house. With the kiddos not being the world's best eaters, there is lots of "eat your food" reminders, "quit playing with your food and eat it" reminders, "sit on your bottom" reminders, etc... you get the picture.

While digging in the silverware drawer for the perfect spoon (because the three she had on her plate weren't good enough), she found this spoon. It was a Christmas gift from my mother in law a couple of holidays ago. I use it for baking mostly. You can imagine how cool she thought this spoon was when she discovered it.

So of course Kellen had to play with it

Ahhh, the shear joy of a funky spoon

The silly spoon turned into silly forks. These are also in the silverware drawer but they're usually  disguised as normal forks

The kids LOVED them

Fun times
